Staring at the edge of the water?

Staring at the edge of the water?

We see you.  As the ice starts to melt and the sun starts to shine, we see more of you driving past our office every day headed down by the water.  That can only mean one thing: from our prime location on Bridgeview Street in Harrison Township, we get to watch the boating season kickoff soon!

Last year was one of the biggest boating seasons on record.  With everyone looking to spend more time outdoors, demand at marinas was at an all time high.  Boat inventory shrunk to almost nothing, and slips were almost impossible to come by.  But if you’re one of the lucky ones with a boat and a place to park it, then you need to start getting ready for another boating season.

  • Storage Wars Are Over:  Make sure you make an appointment soon to get your boat out of storage and put into the water.  We all know those appointments start to fill up fast!  Don’t get caught waiting for weeks while your friends and family are already boating.
  • Safety First:  Make sure you check all your mechanicals before you get started.  And, with all the extra traffic on the water, you need to be extra careful – especially when you’re entering and exiting marinas and going through channels.  Don’t be in too big of a rush to get out there; make sure you arrive safely!
  • Get an Insurance Checkup:  As you drive by on your way to the water, don’t forget to call us to help make sure your boat is properly covered.  We have numerous insurance carriers that love to write insurance on boats of all sizes, and we are writing new policies for boat owners every day.

Stay safe and enjoy the water!
